Answer Snippet
Is scar revision needed? I had an anchor lift with implants almost 7 months ago.
Do I need scar revision?
Jan 14, 2019
Your scars do not look unusual for 7 months post op except for the area on the vertical scar that appears to be excoriated.  This may be just do to the picture but all areas would be expected to be healed at 7 months.  An evaluation in-person with your doctor would be the best way to determine if he/she thinks you would have a better outcome with a revision.
I had a Mommy makeover 3 days ago. My boobs seem way different sizes. Had a lift on just one, could
Breast asymmetry 3 days post op?
Jan 14, 2019
Your pictures do show a definite difference in the size of the breasts.  This can be totally normal as you described that the surgery was different for each breast.  It is very early in your recovery and it can take more than a month for asymmetries to even out.  The best course of action would be to visit your surgeon to see if he/she thinks this size differential is expected or not.
Do I need implants or just a lift? Big breasts is not necessarily the goal but perky is. I want them
I want perky breasts!
Jan 14, 2019
Your pictures do show deflated breasts with ptosis (sagging).  Adding an implant to a breast lift will increase size by whatever size the implant is.  A lift without an implant usually has less of an upper pole fullness or roundness above the bra line.  A compromise may be a very small implant if you want this upper pole fullness.  A lift by itself will can make them "perky" but usually the upper pole remains flatter than with an implant.
Will hives near breast Agumentation incision be okay?
Hives post op?
Jan 14, 2019
Your pictures do not appear to show classic hives but there is some redness.  I would seek a visit with your surgeon asap for a thorough examination of the hives on your body and the redness of the incisions.
Should I wear a bra for sleeping to help with gravity?
Wearing a bra to sleep?
Jan 14, 2019
Four years after BA you would expect to see some changes in the breasts.  Gravity never gives up!  Also, as our skin ages, it loses some of its elasticity.  My opinion is that wearing a bra to bed probably doesn't make a difference at this point if your breasts are average in size.  If they are extremely large, I would recommend a bra at all times, including for sleep.
*2 weeks after ba* I would like to know if healing looks ok? After left breast was drained
Breast asymmetry two weeks after surgery.
Jan 14, 2019
Your pictures do show some variation between the breasts.  It is too early to worry about capsular contracture.  Some possible reasons for the asymmetry could include the difference between the breasts naturally, the taping, and the fact that one breast had more trauma due to the second surgery.  I visit to your surgeon should help alleviate your anxiety about capsular contracture and help explain the asymmetry.
Is my incision infected and what do you recommend for healing and scarring?
Is my incision infected?
Jan 14, 2019
This is a very limited view of your breast.  You do not appear to have a rip-roaring cellulitis but there is some redness around and above the incision.  A quick visit to your surgeon should help to decide if you have an infection or not.
Is a possible dual plane breast implant best for me?
Dual plane augmentation?
Jan 14, 2019
You have described your breasts correctly as they appear in your photos.  Your eventual surgery depends on your desired result, and in this case, how large an implant your are interested in.  You may or may not need a mastopexy.  A consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon should be next on your agenda.
Would my breast asymmetry surgery be funded?
Breast asymmetry.
Jan 14, 2019
Your pictures clearly show the difference in size between your breasts.  All insurance carriers have different requirements when it comes to any breast surgery.  Your best option is to find a reconstructive Plastic Surgeon and have a thorough evaluation.  They could then petition your insurance company if it is a covered procedure.  Good luck!
Is this the start of a capsular contracture 6 months after breast augmentation?
Capsule 6 months post augment?
Jan 14, 2019
It is a good thing to check your breasts regularly.  I would recommend an appointment with your surgeon for an in-person evaluation.  That will be the only way to properly evaluate if you are starting to form a capsular contracture.
Should I continue wearing my breast tube bra?
How long to wear tube bra?
Jan 14, 2019
Your pictures look terrific!  I would always recommend following your doctor's advice since he/she knows you best and also knows how the surgery was performed.
Doctor refuses to perform labiaplasty under local anaesthesia?
Labiaplasty under local anesthesia?
Oct 11, 2018
Labiaplasty is commonly performed under local anesthesia.  This really depends on the tolerance of the patient and the preference of the surgeon.  If you desire local anesthesia and this surgeon requires general anesthesia, then I would suggest you interview other surgeons until you find one that fits your personality and that you trust performing your surgery.  There are many qualified, experienced, board certified surgeons available everywhere.
I'd like to know if I would be a good candidate for labiaplasty (minora) and augmentation (majora)?
Candidate for labiaplasty?
Oct 11, 2018
Your pictures appear to show that you are very slender and the labia minora are prominent and visible between the outer labia.  This is normal and not uncommon as women age that are very thin.  Both labiaplasty of the minora and surgical manipulation of the majora for symmetry are both possible and reasonable.  The minora are more obvious than the asymmetry of the majora and labiaplasty alone may change your appearance enough for you to be satisfied.  A full discussion of the options and exp...
Is this fixable or a botched labiaplasty?
6 days after labiaplasty.
Oct 11, 2018
Your pictures appear fairly typical for 6 days post labiaplasty.  Swelling and discoloration are expected and normal.  It typically takes 4-6 weeks for swelling to subside and the appearance to begin to normalize.  Do not be overly concerned at this point that something needs to be "fixed".  Time and healing may show you that this is the appearance you were looking for.  Consult with your surgeon sooner rather than later to help allay your fears.
Is there something wrong with my vagina? Is it too big? What can be done to fix this?
Is my vagina normal?
Oct 11, 2018
This is a common concern among women AND men.  Everyone seems to be more critical of themselves than others.  Your pictures appear to show very normal anatomy of your labia.  That does not mean you have to like this appearance and a discussion with a board certified surgeon experienced with labiaplasty would be my suggestion.  There may be a way to change your appearance that would be more acceptable to you and allow you to be more confident in your appearance.
