While perseverance is necessary when undergoing laser tattoo removal, in time results can be gratifying. Multiple treatments (often 10 or more) spaced several months apart are necessary. With the picosecond domain lasers and/or using the "Describe" patch to allow for multiple passes of the laser each visit, the number of visits traditionally required may be reduced by about 40%.
