Unfortunately, it sounds that you are having a delayed response to the filler. It seems that we are seeing this more and more across the board with fillers. It is self-limiting and responds to anti-histamines. Ideally the product should be removed with a substance (hyaluronidase) that dissolves the filler. That’s a bummer after you have invested in it, I know. I have also placed patients on a short course of steroids. Follow up with your provider to see how they can help get this resolved.

Thank you for your question! Botox injected into the eyelid by an advanced injector is safe and usually helps with asymmetry. Unfortunately, Botox can take up to 2 weeks for full result. If you have any further concerns please follow up with your provider after 2 weeks. Hope this helps to alleviate your fear.

Thank you for your question! Sadly, Botox can not be removed once injected. Botox generally lasts 3-4 moths, however a very small dosage is injected in the upper lip region. Therefore, only lasting a short time, usually 6-8 weeks.

Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, there isn’t anything to do but wait. Injecting alternate muscles may worsen the problem. The good news is that Botox wears off in 3 months and you will return to your beautiful self!

As a general rule, it is recommended that you wait at least 14 days before altering the initial treatment. Everyone heals differently and you may need more time. Having said that, it appears that you were under treated on the right and over treated on the left. Highly recommend Hylnex to dissolve the product. Tear troughs can be a rather difficult area to treat, do your homework for specialists in your area.

Acne scars can be tough to treat. With a combination of modalities you can accomplish an improved skin. Ablative laser resurfacing, IPL, PRP and chemical peels are what I would recommend. You are going to need multiple treatments of each of the modalities over the course of months to maybe years. Just depends on the treatments and how aggressive they are.

Thank you for your question. At home chemical peels can be dangerous if not applied correctly. Chemical peels should not be applied over open acne pustules. In time you will heal but you might be left with scarring or discoloration. I would recommend going to a dermatologist for future peels.

Asian skin types can be very hard to treat. Laser treatments can often make your freckles worse. I would recommend doing a series of peels and MicoPen/PRP.

A laser treatment such as IPL will remove the freckles but you may need multiple treatments. It is hard to say if the freckle will be gone for good because the sun is a factor in the production of freckles. At home skincare route that includes SPF, and a correcting serum such as Skinbetter Even, along with laser treatments are the best way to go.
