The indentation from a low dose steroid given for acne injections should resolve with time. I would recommend giving it a few months before doing another procedure. The post inflammatory pigment should also resolve. This can be sped up with a topical lightening agent. If you have a big event and can’t wait for the indentation to resolve, a correction could be made with a haluronic acid filler. Best of luck

We have been performing PicoSure Laser series to help improve rolling acne scars for years with good results. PicoSure will improve the texture and redness associated with acne scars. It takes a series starting with 5-6 treatments but the nice thing about PicoSure treatments is the minimal downtime. We prep patients skin with Retin A and Alastin to get maximal collagen stimulation. Sometimes we add a filler to further soften the scars after the PicoSure series....
I had Ultherapy almost 2 weeks ago and my skin quality has changed. Is this normal?

It sounds like your skin is reacting to the numbing cream used during the Ultherapy or a product used afterwards. It is not a normal reaction I see from the Ultherapy. I would consider using a good facial moisturizer and mild face wash. If it does not improve I would see your treating provider. I love Ultherapy and have my nurses perform a treatment on me every 1-1 1/2 years. Hope this helps

If the redness in this area has also been present since healing this area may have had a deeper treatment. Was this the last area to heal? Short term cystic acne lesions can arise from all the ointments used after the laser, but if these are persistent growths I may be concerned with early scarring from the laser. You sound like the ideal candidate for Coolscupting. But if your inner thighs were treated in the same area all three times I would not continue to treat again with coolscupting. I would have the area re-evaluated to determine if the issue is fat or laxity. If fat is the issue I also use Kybella or liposuction in this area. Laxity is a more difficult issue and may require surgery by a plastic surgeon. hope this helps.

For the best most natural results I would suggest a combination of treatments. I would start with ultrapulse CO2 laser both deep and active. This would improve the wrinkles the most but has about 7-10 days of downtime. Results will continue to improve for several months. Once you were healed from the laser I would suggest a combination of fillers for adding a small amount of volume and filling in the lines. Hope this helps

Emsculpt uses noninvasive HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) technology to induce powerful muscle contractions. The depth of penetration is 7cm. The company recommends no metal in the body, but your IUD depth is well beyond 7 cm and so you should be fine to have the treatment. Hope this helps.

40 y/o with dynamic under-eye wrinkles. Is filler an option that would yield results?

I would continue with Botox and a good eye cream. CO2 Laser is my favorite for the wrinkles under the eye but a series of radio frequency treatments with Thermi smooth or Vivace (microneedling and radio frequency with PRP) are also helpful with little to no downtime. I use filler when there is a hallowing under the eyes, but from your photo that is minimal. Hope this helps.
2 months after my first injection I got some small bumps all over the overlip. Is this granuloma?

It looks like the filler was placed too superficially and this is causing the bumps. Usually with a granuloma you get some inflammation or redness. I would recommend getting hyaluronidase injected to dissolve the superficial filler and bumps. Once this is done you can have more filler placed in a slight deeper plane by an experienced injector. Is pink skin normal after revepeel?

It is normal to be pink right after the peel. Please continue the balm and be sure to avoid any sun exposure. The skin may then turn brown and then peel off. Don’t pick, just let skin flake off. Once peeling is done your skin may be slightly pink again. This fresh skin is sensitive like baby’s skin so continue to protect it and use mild products. Hope this helps.
Will these double eye bags improve after Restylane?

You may still have a slight amount of swelling and this should resolve in the next week But I think you may need a small amount of hyaluronidase to bring down the bags. I would recommend calling the office back, and asking to be seen sooner since you have a concern. Small amounts of filler should be injected deeply to under correct In this delicate area..
