The amount of time that Restylane injections last depends on a number of factors, including the area it was injected, how much was injected, the patient’s metabolism, and the activity levels of the area injected. Typically Restylane lasts longer in areas that have less movement, such as the cheeks or tear troughs, and less in areas like the lips that are constantly moving. Generally, 4 to 6 months for high movement areas and 6 to 12 months for less movement areas for duration of Restylane.
