Thank you for your question. ThermiTight is used for tightening the tissue in the neck and jawline. Collagen is stimulated and connective tissue is tightened to redefine the neck and jawline. Thank you for your question. In our Del Mar Ca. practice we tell patients to remain upright and refrain from rubbing, massaging or manipulating the injected area for 3-4 hours after. Botox will not migrate after four days, so your massage will not affect it.

Thank you for your question. Mole cells go down into the fat layer. Shaving can be a great option for removing an unwanted or unsightly mole, however because of the depth of the cells, they may grow back. Provided the tissue was sent to a pathologist to review and has been deemed benign you can consider having it reduced with a laser such as Fraxel or Smoothbeam. Another option would be to have the residual mole removed with a punch excision and any scar that occurs can be lasered.

Thank you for your question. It is quite normal for your skin to get tight and dry following a chemical peel. You want to be sure you are cleansing with a mild, hydrating cleanser and moisturizing throughout the day. Sunscreen is a must! As you begin to peel you are exposing fresh "baby skin" and you want to be sure to protect it from the suns harmful rays.

Hello, CoolSculpting treats areas of unwanted fat by literally freezing the fat cells and causing them to degrade and be metabolized by the body. Once you remove those fat cells from a specific area you will never be preferentially heavier in that area again. This is true if your weight is stable. If you were to gain weight it would be more evenly distributed across the body, but you would still see a small increase in the treated area.

That is an excellent question. The laser energy will be preferentially taken up by the areas where their is more redness. That means that any small red lesions and / or blood vessels are likely to bruise. The surrounding areas that are not so affected will still be treated, there will just be a less vigorous reaction.
