Can CoolSculpting help with the sub scarring after multiple c-sections?
CoolSculpting for scarring
Jan 23, 2020
CoolSculpting is primarily used to reduce excess body fat in a targeted area, and isn't intended to improve or reduce the appearance of any scarring, unfortunately. Scar improvement, especially very deep ones, often require a combination of multiple treatments over a long period of time in order to see results.
While a mini tummy tuck can be an option, certain scar revision techniques are also possible that may be able to help improve the appearance of a scar that deep.

Jeuveau and other drug interactions- Is this dangerous? Can it ruin my filler or counter it?
Mixing Jeuveau and Xeomin
Aug 15, 2019
Great question! Mixing different brands of neuromodulators, such as Jeuveau and Xeomin in this instance, does not have any risk of dangerous effects due to the mixture. Some patients have tried different brands in different areas of the face to see which one they like more. The two products will not affect one another or their results. I hope this helps!
Juvederm and dental cleaning?
Timing of Dental Work & Dermal Fillers
Jul 26, 2019
There is a risk of infection occurring if the timing of dental work and dermal fillers is too close to one another. It is advised to wait 2 weeks in between these two procedures in order to minimize the chances of infection. We do recommend that the dental procedure be performed first if possible.
Is there a way to reverse laser hair removal?
Regrowing Hair after LHR
Jun 25, 2019
Thanks for your question. A correctly performed Laser Hair Removal treatment is intended to permanently remove the hair. The laser's light damages the hair follicles, which is what stops the hair from regrowing again. After many many years, some light hair regrowth may be possible on its own - but this is usually very thin and is not close to the level of hair that was originally there prior. A possible hair transplant to the treated area may be able to generate regrowth of hair.
How soon after CO2 laser can I get a chemical peel (VI Peel)?
Chemical Peels after Lasers
Jun 18, 2019
For laser treatments, usually it is advised to wait a few weeks for the skin to fully heal before considering other facial procedures like a chemical peel. Even with lighter lasers, there can still be some redness and very light peeling that lingers around. The new skin does need more time to fully grow and it can take one month or longer for the final results to fully develop after a laser treatment.
Will laser hair removal help with folliculitis around the buttocks?
LHR for folliculitis
May 30, 2019
Excellent question. If the folliculitis is recurrent due to infection, laser hair removal may help treat this condition. As for scarring in the area, there are also other laser treatments available that can help reduce the appearance of these as well. Your physician will be able to provide you with more details concerning your options for both, the folliculitis and scarring.
Does swelling and pale appearance occur after first session of upper lip hair removal?
Swelling after LHR
May 30, 2019
After a Laser Hair Removal session, some light swelling and redness is a common side effect. This is especially common in sensitive areas where the skin is thinner, such as the upper lip. This is usually temporary and wears off on its own after 48 hours or so. Sunscreen and unscented moisturizer can be applied during this time, and sunlight should be avoided to the treated areas for at least 2 weeks. If the issues persist for longer than 48 hours, definitely contact your treatment...
Should I get a facial before or after Fraxel?
Treatment timing involving Fraxel
May 24, 2019
I would recommend that my patients receive the Fraxel treatment first, since this has the benefit of also treating additional concerns such as sun damage and wrinkles, in addition to acne and acne scars.

Many patients are pleasantly surprised to learn that they do not require additional aesthetic treatments during the time Fraxel treatments are being performed.

After 3-4 weeks have passed after completion of Fraxel laser treatments, depending on their goals, they can then...

Should I get two CoolSculpting treatments on my abdomen or one on my abdomen and one on my f
Treat Abs or Flanks?
May 24, 2019
It is very common for patients to receive CoolSculpting treatments in both areas at the same time for maximum results. While abs and flanks are commonly done at the same time, they can be done separately as well. The results can take up to 12 weeks to appear, and the change is gradual. After around 3 months, you can gauge your results, after which, you may then opt to receive additional treatments afterwards to already treated areas (such as your abs), or a new area entirely (flanks).
What is the Recovery for Zeltiq Coolsculpting, and What Should I Expect?
CoolSculpting Recovery
Oct 15, 2014
Hi, thank you for your question. There is no downtime associated with CoolSculpting. The procedure does not require anesthesia or any incisions. You may resume your daily activities after your treatment. Any mild discomfort you may have can be alleviated with ibuprofen.
How Many Months Will It Take to See Results from Coolsculpting?
CoolSculpting Results
Oct 15, 2014
Hi, thank you for your question. Given that you maintain a healthy diet and exercise regime with no additional weight gain, you can see optimal results within a month after your CoolSculpting procedure. Results are gradual and will continue as your body disposes of the treated fat cells. This entire process can take up to three months, so it is important to stay patient.
How Long Does the Coolsculpting Procedure Last and How Many Treatments Are Needed?
CoolSculpting Treatment Times and Frequency
Oct 15, 2014
Hi, thank you for your question. The length of one CoolSculpting treatment depends on the area to be treated. In general, it takes approximately one hour to treat the entire abdomen. The amount of treatments needed depends on the desired amount of fat removal. Many patients are perfectly happy after one treatment, while others find that they want extra fat removed. It can take a few months to see final results from one treatment as the body needs time to adequately dispose of the frozen fat...
Why Do Some Coolsculpting Patient Report Little Pain and Others Report Severe Pain?
Pain Variation with CoolSculpting
Oct 15, 2014
Hi, thank you for your question. The first factor to consider is that every individual’s pain threshold is different. Unlike tumescent liposuction, CoolSculpting is a non-invasive treatment. It requires no incision and no intrusive vacuuming of the targeted fat. CoolSculpting works by using a two-paneled device that holds the targeted area and delivers cooling technology to freeze fat cells. The fat cells die through apoptosis and are then disposed of by the body’s natural defenses....
Can I have Liposuction after 2.5 years after Tummy Tuck? The scars above and below belly but
Liposuction After Tummy Tuck
Oct 15, 2014
Hi, thank you for your question. Your results still look great and you have kept up with them well. I agree that the area you are referring to could have been addressed a little better during your tummy tuck. However, liposuction even 2.5 years after a tummy tuck could raise potential risks and comes with high cost and downtime. Your problem area can be easily addressed with a non-surgical procedure such as Ultera Skin Tightening or CoolSculpting. With these options you do not have to...
