Answer Snippet
How Many Botox Units for 11's or Frown Lines?
Botox
Sep 26, 2018
The amount of Botox used in certain areas can vary from patient to patient. Most patients will see Botox results 3-4 days after treatment, but results may take up to 7-10 days.
I would recommend scheduling a follow up visit with your provider if you are not happy with your results in 2 weeks.
What can I do about my post-inflammatory erythema and acne scarring?
Post Inflammatory Erythema & Acne Scarring
Sep 26, 2018
I love using a Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL) to help with post inflammatory erythema. The PDL delivers an intense, yet gentle, burst of light into the targeted areas of the skin, and the light is absorbed by specific blood vessels or pigmented areas in the dermis. The number of treatments needed will need to be evaluated in person.

I love treating acne scars with microneedling with PRP! The number of treatments also will need to be evaluated in person.

What treatment would you recommend for fine lines and wrinkled skin under my eyes, in my tear duct
Fine lines & Wrinkles around Eyes
Sep 26, 2018
I would recommend a neurotoxin injection (Botox), which will help soften and prevent wrinkles (crow's feet and inferior eyelids). The fine lines (tear troughs) can be treated with filler and microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP), if you want to avoid laser resurfacing.
Can Botox shrink my chin? Can I get a softer face?
Change to Chin
Sep 26, 2018
A chin augmentation, as well as filler would mostly give you the results you are looking for. I would recommend having a cosmetic consultation with a board-certified dermatologist and a plastic surgeon to evaluate in-person.
Does IPL treatment help for acne scars and to remove whiteheads?
Acne Scars
Sep 26, 2018
I would actually recommend the TheraClear treatment, which is a mild intense pulsed light. TheraClear is specific for acne. What I have found, acne scars respond best to microneedling, especially microneedling with PRP.
I have rosacea, acne scarring, fine lines starting to appear, and enlarges pores. Should I get Lase
Rosacea, Acne Scarring, Fine Lines, & Enlarged Pores
Sep 26, 2018
IPL is not the same as BBL, but it is similar. I would recommend a pulsed dye laser (PDL) for redness (rosacea) and I believe the best treatment for enlarged pores is microneedling.
Moisturizer with Retin-A - Apply Which First?
Retin-A
Sep 26, 2018
I recommend applying Retin-A and then moisturizer. If possible, try to allow 15-30 minutes between washing face and applying Retin-A.
