The quantity of Sculptra used is a very individualized decision based upon how much volume in your cheeks you have to begin with. Since most people require three injection sessions, the amount of Sculptra used can be fine-tuned during the second and/or third injection session. Your treatment so far has only utilized over the counter strength medications. You should see a board certified dermatologist who could prescribe prescription strength topical antibiotics, retinoids and perhaps an oral antibiotic or Aldactone. If, after one to two months of this approach, you still were not improving, one could even consider Accutane. The good news is, there are a lot of options beyond what you have tried so far.

What you have is postinflammatory hyperpigmentation due to the skin becoming inflamed in areas of eczema. Chemical peeling is not really beneficial in your situation. A better strategy is to treat the eczema using mild topical steroids for brief periods intermittently to help control the eczema and also using creams such as Elidel or Protopic to also control active eczema. Juvederm comes in three different forms. There is Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus and Juvederm Voluma. Juvederm Ultra is most like Restylane. Many patients feel the Juvederm is a little softer in feel than Restylane. Both are appropriate for lips. There is also Restylane Silk now available for lips. Ask your provider which they prefer and go to an experienced injector, particularly when treating your lips.

Acne medication options after two years of Amoxicillin include switching to another antibiotic such as Doxycycline or Minocycline which tends to be for most people, more specific for acne. Scalp acne also tends to respond well to Doxycycline or Minocycline. If your acne is severe and recalcitrant and/or you are frustrated and fed up with this situation, Accutane is always an excellent option to consider since it can potentially cure acne.

It is not uncommon to continue to get breakouts for the first two to three months on Isotretinoin. Usually by the 4th or 5th month breakouts diminish significantly. You might ask your prescriber about your dose. Twenty mg is a relatively low dose, but dosing is dependent on weight. If you weigh more than 50kg (110 pounds), your dosing could be increased. There are many factors that can influence dosing decisions besides weight, but I would check with your prescriber.
