In 2001, Dr. Gustav Lo opened Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center in Petoskey. The success of this vision led to the Traverse City location followed by Traverse Beauty Bar. Dr. Lo was the first to pioneer SmartLipo in northern Michigan, and performs more body sculpting procedures than any other aesthetic doctor in the region. Dr. Lo has also performed hundreds of Cellulaze, Laser Lift, Instalift, and ThermiTight procedures. He has personally trained with the top authorities in the field, including Dr. Stephen Mulholand of Toronto, Dr. John Millard of Denver, and Dr. Barry DiBernardo of New York.

She continues to evolve the practice by implementing the newest innovative techniques and procedures and by offering expansive aesthetic treatment options. Courtney was the area’s first Platinum Level Botox® and Juvederm® Provider (and has been since 2004), and multiple times was named the top Restylane® and Perlane® Injector in the state of Michigan. Her expertise and precision in cosmetic treatments comes from years of experience, thousands of treatments performed, and continuing education workshops and certifications.

Lee joined Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center in 2009 and is a Laser and Injection Expert in both our Traverse City and Petoskey offices. Lee is a Platinum Level Botox and Juvederm provider, and also specializes in our skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, vaginal rejuvenation, leg vein treatment, and fat reduction therapies. After graduating as an RN in 2004, Rene joined our CSLC team in 2011 as a master nurse injector and aesthetic provider. She loves helping clients see instant results and creating individualized aesthetic treatment plans to help clients enhance their most beautiful features and maintain youthful attributes. Rene is also certified in all of our skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, vaginal rejuvenation, leg vein treatment, and fat reduction therapies. Having worked in the field of cosmetic dermatology for the past 8 years, she possesses a true passion for patient education and satisfaction.

Sarah has been an integral part of CSLC (at both our Traverse City and Petoskey offices) since 2008 and is expertly trained in many of our treatments including peels and facials, laser hair removal, TotalFX, IPL, Ultherapy, Thermi, Venus, Coolsculpting, and PRP. In recent years, Sarah has specialized primarily in PRP treatments and neuromodulator (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) injections. Her keen aesthetic eye is valued by clients for choosing the perfect treatments to accentuate their natural beauty and helping every patient feel both healthy and confident. When she’s not working, she loves hiking, reading, cooking, traveling, and exploring alongside her family.

Jette joined our us in 2015 as clinical lead, thread lift specialist, and laser safety officer. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and furthered her aesthetic career by earning her Aesthetician’s License in 2017. Prior to CSLC, Jette clinically assisted in dermatology. Her combined medical expertise and professional, energetic nature help patients to feel comfortable as well as properly informed regarding their treatment decisions.

Jozlynne’s natural passion for aesthetics led her to join our team after 4 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. Jozlynne expertly provides vaginal rejuvenation, laser hair removal, Venus, Coolsculpting, Ultherapy, and microneedling, as well as assisting in Smartlipo and Laser Lifts. Her attention to detail, multiple certifications, and natural shining personality put clients immediately at ease. Jozlynne will complete her RN in the spring of 2020.

Sarah’s expertise in laser hair removal, Coolsculpting, and all of our skin rejuvenation procedures has gained her a large and loyal following of clients. Her favorite treatments to offer are microneedling, Hydrafacials, and ThermiSmooth. Sarah enjoys giving everyone a better day and loves to travel, socialize, and decorate.

Biography: Karmen Endress was an exciting addition to our Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center team as our Master Provider and Cosmetic Coordinator in 2017, joining us with 17 years’ experience as an esthetician and a wealth of aesthetic procedure knowledge from her position at a dermatology office in Ohio. Karmen completed the Full Skincare Specialist program at the Florida College of Natural Health in 2002. Karmen is both exuberant and down-to-earth, and you can’t miss her awesome laugh in the office. Her favorite part of her position is customizing treatment programs for clients so they have the best path to achieve their skin or body rejuvenation goals, then watching their improvement along the way. When she’s not working, Karmen loves spending time with her husband and two children.

Kelly has been an integral part of Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center since she joined our team 2007 with a degree in business management. She’ll most likely be your first point of contact either at Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center or Traverse Beauty Bar, in person or over the phone. Kelly has completed multiple trainings in skincare with Skinceuticals, Glytone, Avene, Obagi, Skinmedica, Neocutis, and ZO and has attended numerous continuing education workshops in aesthetic procedures and injectables. She has a refined aesthetic eye that is trusted and requested by many clients when they are contemplating treatments. Kelly enjoys travel, working out, yoga, and spending time with friends.

Leslie employs marketing, communications, copywriting, and editing skills along with advertising design to make her a unique and growth-inspiring member of our team. Originally from Louisville, Leslie worked bi-coastally in the beauty industry in both New York City and West Hollywood before making the move to northern Michigan and joining us. Her ambition and passion for the beauty and skincare industries, along with her attention to detail within both project and creative management, have made her a welcome addition to our Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center team.

Brit first came to CSLC in 2016 as a patient, joined our team as our Lead Client Coordinator in early 2017, and graduated with her esthetician’s license in 2018. Her salon environment history introduced her to the beauty industry and she expanded her career by joining CSLC. She has received extensive skincare education from Skinceuticals, Avene, and ZO Skincare lines. Brit is passionate about ensuring clients receive both optimal service and results. When not chatting about CSLC treatments or the monthly promo you’ll likely hear her talking about her dog or her weekend outdoor adventures. Brit is a bright ray of light and we’re happy to have her on our team.

Also a talented pianist and classical music enthusiast, Carson is a truly valuable part of our creative marketing department and our team.
