CoolSculpting By Zeltiq is the only non-invasive method to reduce unwanted fat deposits by cooling fat tissue. The principle of cryolipolysis consists in selective and strictly controlled cooling of fat cells without their physical destruction. CoolSculpting Procedure Is Non-invasive, Painless, And Involves No Downtime

The vacuum applicator is applied to the area of the intended effect, previously covered with a gel bandage. The dressing protects the upper layers of the skin from overcooling and at the same time allows achieving uniform cooling of the entire fat fold to the full depth.

Vacuum nozzle captures the fat fold into the applicator, resulting in maximum tight contact with the cooling elements. Cooling occurs not locally, but in the entire thickness of the fold, thanks to a constant vacuum.

The procedure lasts for 1 hour, during which the patient can simply lie or sit on the couch, while monitoring the doctor is not required. Controlled cooling of the tissue site is accompanied by a constant change in the level of the vacuum, which allows maintaining adequate blood supply in the area of exposure.

Apoptosis fatty tissue under the influence of cold is associated with a paradoxical feature of their structure. Despite the fact that adipocytes contain a huge number of substrates for energy metabolism (triglycerides), their ability to effectively maintain their own energy needs (synthesis of ATP) is much lower than in other cells.

When cooling, because of rapidly developing energy deficiency, apoptosis of a significant part of the adipocytes begins. As a result there is a reduction in their number and mass. The apoptosis of fat cells and their subsequent phagocytosis occur within 2-4 months after the procedure. During this time, the volume of fat tissue decreases by 20-30%.

Destroyed Fat Cells Don’t Grow Back

Coolsculpting favorably differs from traditional methods of hardware and injection lipolysis, as it excludes trauma to the skin surface, fibroplasia and scarring. As a result of a gradual soft decrease in the volume of adipose tissue, there is no systemic effect on the body in the form of a load of degradation products of adipocytes on the internal organs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE

The doctor carefully examines the area to be corrected and, in accordance with the individual characteristics of the tissues, plans a procedure for cryolipolysis.

We combine different (according to the configuration, bowl size, with vacuum and without vacuum) applicators, we combine different techniques of cryolipolysis. Thanks to this approach, we form attractive and natural contours of the body.

Before placing the applicator in a specific area of the body or face, a special gel mat impregnated with propylene glycol is applied to the skin – to protect the skin from hypothermia. The vacuum applicator captures the skin-fat fold in the inside of its bowl.

The applicator, which is not equipped with a vacuum, works by imposing on the area requiring correction (not every zone has such excess fatty tissue that can be captured by the apparatus nozzle).
