Coolsculpting Neck Before And After

Coolsculpting is great to eliminate the double chin. It is non-invasive, non-surgical. The treatment takes 45mins, and the cost is $650. Additionally, coolsculpting is great for not just the chin (middle of neck) but also the right and left side of the neck below the jawline.

Kybella can only treat the middle of the neck (chin). (Shamim Shakibai, MD, Los Angeles Physician)

Coolsculpting of the neck

Coolsculpting now has the ability to be used on the neck with its new Cool-Mini applicator. The treatment takes about an hour. Patients may require multiple treatments for optimal results. After treatment, patients can have swelling that is most obvious for a few days and numbness that may last a few weeks.

45mins per applicator

It takes 45mins per applicator and most people require 1-2 applicators. The charge is $750-1500 depending on the size of the treatment area. Another option is Kybella, which is an injectable treatment. Kybella can be used in conjunction with Coolsculpting.

CoolSculpting is better for larger necks, while Kybella is better for smaller ones. So if you have a larger area of fullness under the chin, you can do a treatment of CoolSculpting and fine tune it with Kybella, once the larger bulk is reduced.

Lose Your Double Chin

Kybella is also better for accurate placement than Coolsculpting. One is not better than the other. They are just different applications. (William Kwan, MD, FAAD, San Francisco Dermatologist)

CoolSculpting is a great treatment for the neck and double chin!

The CoolMini applicator was designed specifically to treat this common problem area and we’re very pleased with the opportunity to effectively treat this area.

We see men and women (equally) pursuing a non-surgical treatment alternative for unwanted fat in the neck and chin and the results are excellent. CoolMini averages $1000-$2000 for the treatment, and this is accomplished in a single office visit, with little or no downtime (swelling) or discomfort following.

You may very well have elected treatment at this point, but if not, I highly recommend you meet with a practice that provides this treatment. (Jennifer Harrington, MD, Minneapolis Plastic Surgeon)
