She graduation from The University of Maryland in 2002 with a Masters in Science and an Adult Nurse Practitioner degree. She and her brother opened their first med spa in 2003, offering laser hair removal, IPL (intense pulse light) therapy, and skin rejuvenation. Through perseverance, Melissa worked with the Maryland State Board to change practice guidelines allowing nurse practitioners to work in a med spa independently and to oversee procedures performed by nurses. With a passion for promoting individual self-worth, Melissa has made it her mission to keep up with changing technology, offering the most advanced services and listening to her clients on how to improve their sense of overall well-being. Biography: Kim graduated with a BS in Nursing and a Minor in Psychology from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1989. Upon graduation, she worked at Bryan Memorial Hospital on the cardiac unit. In 1994, Kim began traveling with her husband Brian across the United States with a sales and marketing company specializing in Health and Nutrition. Her new found love for marketing and interacting with people was cultivated and flourished. In 2003, Kim and Brian settled down in Maryland, joining forces with Brian’s sister Melissa to open their first med spa. Kim’s medical background and love for marketing made a beautiful combination. After 10 years Alazzo Med Spa was born, offering Laser Hair Removal, Intense Pulse Light Therapy, MicroResurfacing, Injectables, Liposonix, Laser Therapy for Spider Veins, and so much more! Striving to make Alazzo the place to go to when “Keeping up with the ever changing you”, Kim has made it her mission to introduce Alazzo to everyone she comes in contact with.

Biography: Rebecka graduated in 2001 from Hagerstown Community College with a degree in Human Services. She is a seasoned management professional who has worked in the medical field for over 10 years. After working at a busy pediatric medical practice in Hagerstown, MD for five years, she moved into a management position in the medical aesthetics industry. Rebecka has extensive knowledge in the laser cosmetic field, making her an expert consultant for all skincare needs. She not only has been trained in laser systems but has received extensive training from both Allergan and Merz Aesthetics. Actively involved in the community, Rebecka is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Business Network Institute. Passionate about her ability to help others, Rebecka enjoys meeting and talking to new people, and providing them with the information needed to keep up with life’s changes. Biography: Becky Cole, a Registered Nurse, graduated Frederick Community College in 2011. She immediately began working in medical aesthetics at that time and discovered her passion for helping her clients achieve beautiful, healthy skin all while gaining self-confidence. Her addition to our office brings her skills and expertise in non-surgical cosmetic treatments. She has extensive experience and advanced training in state of the art lasers and non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as intense pulse light therapy, laser hair removal, micro-resurfacing, chemical peels, micro-needling, body contouring, laser therapy for spider veins, and so much more! Becky delivers beautiful and natural results while individually designing treatment programs that give her clients optimal results! Biography: Britt Coffman graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Hood College. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has previous experience working as a certified EMT, and after completing her studies she worked as a Physician Assistant for a local primary care office, specializing in women’s care for 3 years. She followed her passion for preventative medicine by taking a specialty position at a private practice specializing in weight management for 5 years. Britt is happy to bring her experience and knowledge to Alazzo Med Spa by providing our clients with our new Alazzo Weight Loss Program. Britt is also trained to provide clients with the full range of our aesthetic treatments, including laser hair removal for men and women, injectables, and skin rejuvenation. She is eager to share her talents with Alazzo clients and assist them in unveiling a whole new you!

Biography: Laura Gentili graduated summa cum laude from The Catholic University of America in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She worked as a critical care nurse in the surgical ICU at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC for five years. She returned to school and received her Master’s Degree in Science as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2004 from The University of Maryland. Laura has been working in Medical Aesthetics since 2006 with more than 12 years experience in anti-aging treatments and laser corrective procedures. Her profession is truly her passion. She specializes in providing cosmetic treatments such as laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation and resurfacing, sclerotherapy, and is a certified expert in Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, Xeomin, and Belotero. Laura is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland. Alazzo Med Spa is lucky to have her expertise and experience as part of our team.

Biography: Our Registered Nurse and Skin Care Specialist, graduated from Von Lee International School of Aesthetics in Baltimore, MD in 2006. It is then when her journey and love for medical esthetics began with the team that now comprises Alazzo Med Spa. Brittney joined Melissa’s vision and cultivated quite the menu of advanced medical skin care treatments and her following grew enormously. Brittney has specialized in advanced skin care including Micro-Resurfacing, chemical peels, enzyme therapy, and cellulite treatments. Brittney has a great deal of knowledge in specializing treatments and products to each individual’s needs. We are excited to say that Brittney graduated from Montgomery College of Nursing in December 2013.
