Coolsculpting versus Sculpsure
Coolsculpting is still the number one most successful non-invasive fat loss procedure in the world.
It is so successful because it is so effective. Patients feel with Sculpsure that they have to have more treatments to get the same result. (Michele S. Green, MD, New York Dermatologist)
FDA trials showed that coolsculpting reduces 22 % of subcutaneous fat . Sculpsure FDA trials reduced 13% subcutaneous fat.
So if you want less fat reduction sculpsure would be your option. (Drew Varano, MD, Washington DC Physician)
Better results
Without a doubt coolscultping performs better . It removes 20-25% of the subcutaneous fat vs sculpsure which removes 13% in the FDA trials .
In fact the makers of sculpsure ( cynosure) are facing a class action law suit by physicians who purchased the device because of lack of efficacy and what it was advertised to accomplish . (Drew Varano, MD, Washington DC Physician)
Does SculpSure or CoolSculpting have better results?
SculpSure and CoolSculpting are both non-surgical treatments to reduce fat in isolated areas, such as the abdomen and flanks. SculpSure destroys fat by heating it and CoolSculpting destroys fat by freezing it.
Both treatments destroy about 20-25% of the fat cells in the treated area with one treatment and both take about 12 weeks to see the full effect from the procedure.
Both treatments also can require more than one treatment session to get the desired improvement. I would not say that one procedure definitely gives a better result than the other, but sometimes one of the procedures may be more appropriate for a particular person or a particular body area than the other.
An examination of the patient is needed to determine if either treatment might be of benefit. (Michael I. Echavez, MD, San Francisco Facial Plastic Surgeon)
Coolsculpting is great to remove fat in trouble areas. Excellent results when used alone, but even more when combined with another type of skin tightening or smoothing treatment. Sculpsure will not be able to give you the same results. I suggest consulting with an experienced physician for a proper evaluation and treatment plan. (Alain Michon, MD, Ottawa Physician)
