ThermiVa will stimulate collagen in the area being treated for several months. The collagen will eventually be absorbed through your body’s natural tissue remodeling process. This is why patients need to come in for maintenance treatments after their series of 3 treatments. Typically patients will come back once a year for maintenance treatments. Hopefully this helps!

We recommend that you do not fully submerse your eyebrows in water for 12 days after microblading. We also do not recommend using soap on the microbladed eyebrows for 12 days as well. Microbladed eyebrows should be gently cleansed using a damp cotton ball in a circular motion. Aftercare serum or lotion should be used after cleansing. The ink needs time to be implanted into the skin so it is not recommended to use soap on the area for the…

It is normal for the area being treated to be sore for a week or so after treatment. The area can remain numb to the touch for up to a month after treatment. About 20 percent of individuals may experience something called late onset nerve firing a week after treatment. This typically lasts up to a week. It is fine to take a recommended dosage of Tylenol or Advil. Contact your provider if the pain is not tolerable after…

We recommend a series of 3 treatments one month apart for optimal results. You will continue to see improvement in the area being treated for up to three months after your last treatment. Patients do require touch up treatments due to natural aging. We recommend patients come in for one annual maintenance treatment. Hopefully this was helpful.

I would not be concerned about not seeing a visable difference after your first treatment. Three results one month apart are recommended for optimal results. It takes time for the heat and radiofrequency treatment to increase collagen and elastin fibers in the area being treated. You will continue to see improvement in the area being treated for up to two months post-treatment. It is normal not to see much of a difference after your…

Sorry to hear you are experiencing discomfort. It is absolutely a good idea to have an exam. I am not sure of you have been having your routine mammograms but you need to see your physician to discuss potential causes of your discomfort.
Good luck.

Well congrats on making the decision to have your procedure but I am sorry to hear about the bump in the road. It is a good idea to see your plastic surgeon for evaluation. At this point in the healing stage there is not much you would anyway as you need to see how your healing progresses and how your implants settle. However you definitely need to see your PS for formal evaluation in the case of any rare complications.
Happy healing!

It sounds like you have some fun adventures coming up! Yes, you can do your activities after having surgery however you need to allow yourself generous time to heal. Typically we advise a minimum of 6 weeks prior to resuming full aggressive activity however with these types of activities I would very likely consider extending that timing as well. It is crucial that you discuss these things with your surgeon so you can plan well. Sometimes it is best to have your…

Congrats on having your procedure done. It is too early to make any judgements. At this stage just keep in close contact with your surgeon to express any concerns. This early in recovery uneven swelling is no surprise. Your breast will continue to change as the days pass.
Happy healing!

Sorry to hear you are concerned. It can be frustrating when an incision opens. Be sure to see your surgeon for good wound care instructions. These types of openings are not stitched back shut, they will close on their own. Be patient because wound healing can take a while.
Best wishes!

It sounds like your plastic surgeon gave you good instructions and you are doing all that you can. Only use what your surgeon advises or approves. Sometimes the extra things patients may want to try interact or hinder with the things you should be using. Avoid too much bending or aggressive activity.
Happy healing!

The only way to definitively diagnose a broken nose is through imaging. Although an x-ray of the nasal bones may provide some information a CT scan is much more specific and can better characterize the extent of the break if there is one. x-ray is very limited.
Good luck.
