Statement: Dr. Krever is a board certified family physician who specializes in aesthetic medicine. She earned her premedical undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and completed her medical training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in her hometown of Norfolk, Virginia. After marrying her college sweetheart, Dr. Krever moved to his home state of New Jersey where she completed a residency in the Virtua Health System, receiving intensive training under specialists in all aspects of medical care including general medicine, surgery, dermatology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and more. Inspired by her passion for women’s health and natural aptitude for detail-oriented medical procedures, she made the decision to pursue aesthetic medicine as a sub-specialty.
Dr. Krever has devoted all of her professional energies to becoming an expert in the delivery of aesthetic medical care and procedures. At Source Medical Aesthetics, where the emphasis is on personalized care, Dr. Krever finds it refreshing and gratifying to be able to spend 30 minutes to an hour with patients investigating their concerns and developing a plan of care for a problem that is often too complicated for a 5 to 10 minute typical office visit. Dr. Krever prides herself on being friendly, compassionate, and committed to serving as a resource for her patients. She has a keen interest and focus on the care and correction of common skin issues such as acne and rosacea. In addition, she understands and promotes the physical and psychological benefits of graceful aging, addressing the effects of stress to our outward façade, and bringing out a healthy, radiant appearance.

Options for correcting asymmetry and contour irregularity after liposuction
Oct 22, 2022
Liposuction can sometimes result in these types of issues and it can be frustrating when the result shows unevenness from side to side or a contour that isn’t as smooth as it should be. Many patients would choose to avoid having to return to the OR for a revision so figuring out less invasive ways of improving the outcome is an important goal. I would be hesitant to suggest or try CoolSculpting to address a postsurgical challenge such as yours. I would be afraid that the precision needed to…

Numbness and spasms following laser and Botox
Dec 6, 2018
Hi hea0434,
The numbness and muscle spasms in your chin are very unlikely to be directly related to the Halo. The depth of penetration of the lasers used by the Halo are such that it would be impossible for them to affect facial nerves in a way that would explain your symptoms. If you had been given any injected anesthesia in the form of a nerve block in your lower face, it’s possible that both symptoms could be related to that. As far as Botox goes, there is a chance…
What can be done about a dropped eyelid after Botox?
Eyelid drooping after Botox 🙁 a.k.a. “eyelid ptosis”
Feb 2, 2018
A drooping eyelid following Botox is an uncommon side effect that can ruin the day of both patient and doctor. It is thought to occur when a tiny amount of Botox intended to relax muscles that drag down your brows inadvertently weakens a tiny muscle that helps keep your eyelid open. It results in a droopy eyelid that doesn’t want to open fully. It can temporarily be helped with certain eyedrops that help perk the eyelid up for a few hours at a time. …
