Thank you for the question. Low level light therapy is a non-invasive options that we find to be successful, especially in combination with PRP. Depending on how advanced the thinning is and the location of the thinning, we would determine the best course of action. Thank you for the question, when treating the segmental “double chin” most patients require 2-3 treatments to see best results in fat reduction. At our practice we do require a pt to wait approx. 4-6 week before retreating. Keep in mind, when treating with CoolSculpting you are reducing the FAT in that area, CoolSculpting does not tighten the skin. The appearance of lose skin may ultimately be your concern. However, it is never too late to retreat with CoolSculpting.

There is no maximum number of treatments you can do per area. However, keep in mind you should wait some time before re-treating the same area (seeing full results). When ready to re-treat, be sure you have enough fat to fit in the applicator and there is an adequate seal/ Always consult with a CoolSculpt trained Physician.

Thank you for the question, CoolSculpting does not require pain in order to eliminate fat cells! Keep, in mind every ones pain tolerance is different. CoolSculpting is consider the “lunch time” procedure, do to the fact that there is if any, minimal discomfort associated with the treatment. Since CoolSculpting is a non-surgical procedure and there is no real down time, returning back to normal activity is completely at your digression. Meaning, if you are feeling up to it, and not sore in the area of treatment, it is completely fine to have a massage. This will not alter your results in any way. However, it is always a good idea to consult with the location that treated you.

In most cases it is recommended to treat the chin twice for best results. If you have not under went 2 rounds of the mini, I would think about doing so before you try another treatment plan. Remember it is still to early to see full result of your CoolSculpting.
