Great question!! I see this so often now that teenagers are averaging 200+ selfies a day. There is a small muscle at the base of your nose that pulls the tip of your nose down when you smile. A small, small drop of Botox will alleviate this problem and allow for a much more visible smile!

Facial exercises actually do the reverse – they age the face by creating unnecessary wrinkles. Think about other areas of the body that we use continuously such as the knee and elbow. They are covered in wrinkles and stretch marks. Over use of any skin (even by exercise) causes wrinkles.

With good injection techniques, you really shouldn’t be able to tell if someone has had a liquid rhinoplasty. The correct patient and the appropriate filler are the two most important decisions to be made with injectable nose jobs. In my hands, I like Vollure in the nose. It’s easily moldeable, doesn’t leave bumps and lasts up to 18 months. It’s also great for correcting the smallest of assymmetries.

Start massaging immediately. You’re not botched but it’s going to take a lot of massaging on your part to get your lips smooth. Remember there are also injectables that reverse Juvederm if the massaging doesn’t help!

Juvederm XC is FDA approved for up to a year. My experience in the lips is that it lasts about 8 months. The newer fillers, Vollure and Volbella last much longer and feel much more natural!

This is a small capillary that may have been burst during your injection. It is now growing close to the surface of the skin. This can be treated with a laser treatment that removes capillaries with very little downtime. Hope this answers your question.

Even though you’re not pleased with it, 5 units of Botox is actually a very small and conservative amount. It more than likely will not last the full 3 – 4 months. Practice using your brows and elevating them as much as possible so that it will wear off sooner.
