Final results from CoolSculpting usually take 2-3 months to fully appreciate/manifest. You didn’t mention how long ago you had undergone this procedure, so it is hard to say. We usually do two rounds of applicators (at least a month apart) in an area to maximize results. Hang tight…it is unclear what your final results will be at this time.

Great question. Patients see maximum results at month 3. Some patients see results as early as three weeks but it is not unusual for it to take longer to see results.

Hi, Interesting question. There are no studies that have tried to answer this question, so I would NOT recommend trying this. CoolSculpt studies have only examined cosmetic treatments.

Hi, Coolsculpting is not OK with an abdominal hernia. A hiatal hernia is a different type of hernia. You should ask your Coolsculpting provider to examine you to be sure that the procedure is safe for you.

In our experience, patients can have different reactions to PDT even when administered in the same office by the same person. Patients who have undergone prior PDT in the same area usually have a less aggressive response the second time around.

CoolSculpt permanently kills fat cells in the treated area – approximately 20-25% of the cells in this area. Although these cells are gone, your body can deposit more fat (and thus enlarge) the remaining fat cells. Bottom line is that you need to maintain a stable weight to maintain your results. Unfortunately, CoolSculpt targets pinchable fat. The applicator is attached to a vacuum. The vacuum sucks the tissue into a U shaped metal plate that freezes the fat. You will not achieve a good seal if you don’t have tissue that is easily picked up by the applicator. Best wishes!

Hi, The CoolSculpt vacuum effect is limited to the fat located above your abdominal wall. The vacuum is powerful enough to pull tissue into the CoolSculpt applicator but should not affect your IUD.
