Thanks for your question. CoolSculpting is designed to be optimally effective on those who are around 10-15 pounds of their goal weight. This who are on the heavier side are not ideal candidates, but can be treated. We can use CoolSculpting to smooth out the bulges and to help debulk somewhat. Thank you for your question. I think it is important to remember 2 things. First, the majority of CoolSculpting patients will find that results do not show until between 12 and 16 weeks. Second, nearly every patient will need to be treated 2 times in any area that is treated. Having successfully treated thousands of Clients with CoolSculpting, we have found that arms get very smooth natural looking results. The issues associated with thermal events tend to be caused by not using the appropriate applicator, or also by not using the correct gel pad. In this case, the Cool Petite Applicator was designed especially for the arms. I would have a discussion with your provider, and be sure that this is the applicator that is being used. In this case, based on the photos you have provided, I would say that CoolSculpting would not be the right treatment for you. CoolSculpting permanently removes fat cells from the treated areas, and in this case that would only make the situation worse. I would seek out information regarding a lower face and neck lift. Everyone reacts differently to the treatments, and in fact, different parts of the body can also react in ways that are not parallel.
