Name: Gary Mendese, MD, FAAD, FACMS

Statement: Dr. Gary Mendese, MD, FAAD, FACMS is a board-certified dermatologist with over a decade of experience practicing in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. While he performs a wide range of dermatologic procedures, he specializes in Mohs surgery and aesthetic treatments, including body contouring, dermal fillers, and other injectables. He is known amongst his patients for having a warm bedside manner and a healthy sense of humor.

Dr. Mendese received his MD from University of Massachusetts Medical School before completing his dermatology residency at the combined Boston University/Tufts University program, where he was chief resident, and two fellowships in Mohs surgery and pathology respectively. Statement: Robert D. Murgia III, DO, FAAD, is a fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologic surgeon and board-certified dermatologist, who practices adult and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Murgia was born and raised on Boston’s North Shore and is thrilled to return home.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Boston University and Master of Arts in Medical Sciences at Boston University School of Medicine with honors, followed by his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a traditional rotating internship at Ohio Health O’Bleness Hospital and dermatology residency at Hackensack University Medical Center Palisades.

He then went on to complete an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at Maryland Dermatology, Laser, Skin, and Vein under the mentorship of Robert Weiss, MD, a world-renowned leader in the field. During his fellowship, he received advanced training in the use of neuromodulators, such as Botox and Dysport, filler injections, laser and energy-based devices for skin rejuvenation, non-invasive body contouring, and varicose vein treatments.

Dr. Murgia has also authored numerous peer-reviewed journal publications and textbook chapters on a variety of topics in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. He has presented at conferences on a national and international level and has actively participated in a multitude of clinical studies. Dr. Murgia’s clinical interests include non-invasive cosmetic procedures and vein treatments, advances in lasers and energy-based devices for clinical applications, and medical and surgical dermatology, with an emphasis placed on skin cancer prevention and treatment, acne, psoriasis, and rosacea.

Biography: Alaina Iannazzi, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant with over six years of experience in Emergency Medicine as well as dermatology. Directly after graduation from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences she completed an Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital with Brown University. She then went on the spend over four years in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She has always had a true passion for Dermatology and transitioned her primary focus to dermatology. Alaina sees both adult and pediatric patients and also has an interest in a variety of cosmetic procedures.

Biography: Rachel York PA-C, joins the practice with over six years of clinical dermatology experience. Prior, she pursued a degree in biology from Cedarville University where she played collegiate basketball and met her husband, Andrew. Graduate studies brought them to New Hampshire where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2013. Rachel enjoys all aspects of medical dermatology.

Originally from western Pennsylvania, it’s been a fun journey creating new friends, a home, and a community here in New Hampshire. Biography: Frances Furbish has an Associates Degree in Accounting. She was self-employed as Book Works for 11 years and with Dermatology & Skin Health since 2004 as a sub-contracted bookkeeper. Frances went full time in January 2009 as Finance/Billing Supervisor and took the position as the Practice Manager in June 2018.
