Each patient varies but best results are typically seen 3 months after treatment. Initially it is normal to have swelling/bloating to the the area due to the inflammation of fat cell death. Your body will naturally eliminate the dead cells & each person does so at a different rate. We schedule all our CoolSculpting patient for a followup consultation 1 month post treatment. At this point patients are typically able to see results when comparing 1 month photos to their before photos.

It all will depend on which area of the abdomen you are CoolSculpting. Women tend to have 3 abdominal areas: lower, mid, & upper. The upper is very close to the under breast area & should be avoid for at least a month after surgery. Otherwise you are safe to proceed with CoolSculpting anytime!
What is better for fixing indents from deep acne scars, Bellafil or Restylane/Juvaderm?

I would not initially recommend filler for scarring. Our approach would be a more permanent result using PRP injections, not just microneedling, to rejuvenate the collagen to the area & also Ematrix facial resurfacing. I would not recommend a facelift for acne scarring. Always best to schedule a consultation with your nearest experienced provider.

The CoolSculpting procedure causes fat cell death which leads to inflammation & swelling to the area. It is normal for patients to have residual swelling for weeks, even a couple months after treatment. I would encourage follow up with your local provider.

There are a few options: Ultherapy to the lower face can help lift & tighten the area. Dermal fillers such as Juvederm can filler the area below disguising the fold. It can be very normal for your face to appear thinner as the collagen tightening creates a lifted appearance. These marks can be common after laser hair removal. I would recommend topical cortisone cream, avoid sun exposure, & always wear sunscreen to the area if must be in the sun. The marks should fade within few days.

In some patients nerve pain can persist for a few weeks after CoolSculpting. This is seen more with the older applicator, CoolMax. Our practice follows up with each patient following treatment & provides a cell number to reach us after hours.
