She taught for a year and then went to work for Jenny Craig Corporation in Kansas City. Sara moved on to manage the Omaha Jenny Craig Franchises. Dr. Gaumer and Shea Kruse brought Sara to AesthetiCare of Lawrence as a receptionist when they started the business and she has been with them ever since!

Biography: Melody began her nursing career in 1999 armed with a double bachelors degree from Pittsburgh State. Starting out as a patient at AesthetiCare of Lawrence, she found that the esthetics field was something she had a passion for. She began as an AesthetiCare nurse injector with Dr. Gaumer at the very beginning of 2017 after 16 years in labor & delivery, quickly realizing that she had an eye for helping clients achieve rejuvenated, natural results.
